Achievements Highlights
Year 2001-2008,
Won two awards with two entries in “Wild Cat Art”, 2001 international exhibition at Fresno, California. Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum purchased the painting exhibited in “Birds in Art” 2001 for their permanent collection (they own approximately 8 of my originals). Two works on “Art of the Animal Kingdom VI” show, Bennington Center for the Arts, Bennington, Vermont. Two works selected for, “Art and the Animal”, Society of Animal Artists annual show. One was included in subsequent year tour. Participated in “Western Visions 2001/4, National Museum of Wildlife Art, Jackson Wyoming. Six works on: “Big Game 2001” exhibition at the Tryon Gallery, London, England. I was featured in the “Pastel Artist International, master artists of the world, United States Showcase” July 2001. Howard/Mandville Gallery, Miniature shows 2001-4 Kirkland, Washington. Settlers West Gallery, miniature shows 2001/7, Tucson Arizona. Exhibited at Trailside Galleries, Scottsdale Arizona, Wildlife show, and Miniature show 2001/6. Participated in “Wildlife Show 2001” at Raymond James Financial, St. Petersburg, Florida. A painting was added to their collection, and in 2003 another painting “Elk in Snow” was included in their collection. Two more paintings were added in 2006. January 2002 I was featured in “Wildlife Art” magazine, for the commemorating of the publication’s 20th Anniversary. Two works were published in 2002. In October 2002, I had works in the Sierra Club: “Nature’s Legacy: Wildlife and Wild Country”, at the J.N. Bartfield Galleries, in New York City. Three works selected for: “Feline Fine: Art Of Cats” exhibition, October 2002 and subsequent year tour. I have the distinct honor of having a pastel “Cougar Siblings” included in the show at the National Geographic Society, displayed in the Explorers Hall from June through September 2002. I was included in the May 2002 issue of “Southwest Art”, magazine. I have Works in the permanent collection of “The Wildlife Experience” Museum, which opened with the annual exhibition by the Society of Animal Artists (I was also a participant) 2002 in Denver Colorado. In 2003 I entered the “Pastel Journal” competition and won two awards. In 2005 I won another two awards in Pastel Journal. in 2004 I won two awards in the Artist’s magazine. I was featured in the Artist’s magazine in 2005. I was be featured in Southwest Art magazine in June 2005. I have my work included in a book “Pure Color — Best Of Pastel” 2005. Participated in “ Art for Survival” at the Tryon Gallery, London UK in 2003 and 2005 and will be in 2007. Exhibited in “The Artists of Trailside Galleries-Celebrating 40 Years of Excellence”. Participated in the National Museum of Wildlife Art show in 2004/05/06. Participated in “Small works Great Wonders” at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. I was featured in Wildscapes magazine UK. With “Night Games” an oil, on the cover.
I am included in Who’s Who in American Art 2006 and in Who’s Who in America 2008, Who’s Who in the World 2009
Three Images in “Sporting Classics” magazine, March/April 2007 issue. Won the Hiram Blauvelt Museum Purchase Award, at the Society of Animal Artists annual exhibition in 2007
